The Full Story
I am a Professional Coach and Public Speaker with a passion for empowering leaders to unlock their full potential. Over the years, I have had the privilege of inspiring thousands of current and aspiring leaders by presenting strategies to overcome challenges and achieve meaningful success across diverse organizations. With more than 20 years of leadership experience, I’ve navigated roles ranging from informal leadership with no direct reports to leading a large company overseeing more than 40 direct reports across healthcare, manufacturing, and service industries.

I specialize in helping individuals discover their unique strengths, break through limiting habits and patterns, and develop a broader sense of self-awareness and empathy. My coaching fosters improved communication and collaboration, enhances calm and creative problem-solving, builds resilience, reduces anxiety, and cultivates a strong, authentic leadership presence. I have had the opportunity to work with clients from various sectors, including local government, entrepreneurship, and healthcare leadership, guiding them toward both professional and personal growth.

As a dedicated lifelong learner, I hold a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration with a specialization in Leadership Development and Change Management, along with Bachelor of Science degrees in both Psychology and Sociology. Additionally, I have earned an Associate of Applied Science in Neurodiagnostic Technology, reflecting my commitment to continuous growth and interdisciplinary expertise. I am also on the verge of earning the ACC Certification from the International Coaching Federation and have obtained youth coaching certifications, including the KC Legends Coaching Academy Certification and concussion training through the National Federation of State High School Associations.

I currently reside in Kansas City, Missouri, though my roots are in South Dakota. My wife and I have been happily married for 11 years, and we are proud parents to two wonderful sons, aged 16 and 10. As a family, we enjoy traveling and hiking, and for more than six years, we’ve shared a passion for coaching youth soccer, fostering skills, confidence, and character in young athletes.
Outside of coaching, I am an avid aquarium hobbyist, sometimes to my wife’s chagrin.
